Staff Writer

This is our training program for new writers hoping to gain their wings or writers looking to contribute short-form writing to Street without as significant of time commitment as a Beat Writer. Staff writers do not pitch their own pieces, but are rather assigned pieces to cover around Penn and Philly by the assignments editor. Staff writers also contribute to our new newsletter, Street Sweeper, where we will cover and review campus shows and events in a short-form round up (think Mask and Wig, PAACH events, or talks around campus). Most new writers will be assigned to staff to dip their toes into Street and learn the ropes!
